We are grateful to Peter and Maureen for their fabulous feedback below, after Ridgeway Kitchens, recently replaced their old kitchen for new. Please see the accompanying photos of before, during and after.
"Following the completion of our kitchen last week we wanted to record our sincere thanks for the work undertaken. The kitchen has been finished to a very high standard, and Maureen is extremely pleased with the finished article. The high standard achieved certainly exceeded both our expectations.
We would also wish to record our thanks to James for the design of the kitchen, who was extremely helpful and very supportive in advising us what would suit our needs and requirements. This support and advice was greatly appreciated.
We were also grateful to Carl for his advice regarding changes that needed addressing in a number of areas at the early stages.
We also record our sincere thanks to Steve and all the Trades people who all worked to a very high professional standard at all times. Steve kept us fully advised at all times and we have the highest praise for him, and for his continued hard work through out the time he spent working at our home.
Yes, there were a few problems on the way and we would have to accept some of these issues/problems were of our own making. However these problems were always dealt with in a professional, polite and an understanding manner to which we were extremely grateful.
We are currently in Australia for a family Christmas, but wanted to record our thanks and to wish all those involved a very Happy Christmas, and to also wish you all the very best wishes for 2016.
When thinking about a new kitchen, it's always good to see the previous work that kitchen companies have done; furthermore viewing a range of styles, worktops, and colours can really help to visualise what would look great in your home, and visualise your new kitchen. This Hacker kitchen is fitted with premium Silestone worktops and Siemens appliances. Kitchen no longer come in one colour - two tone kitchens are very popular and allow hundreds of possible combinations to create the look that you want to achieve.
The company always go the extra mile, and to that end even took out the old units carefully so they could be sold!
When Tracey and Richard moved into their home 14 years ago it was a new-build with the kitchen already chosen by the site manager. Five years ago they decided to refresh it, putting new doors and work surfaces onto their old units. But the result felt like a compromise. The kitchen was dark and, because of an existing partition, the dining room was barely used. Read on to see exactly what the customer thought of Ridgeway Kitchens and the excellent service provided.
"Our vision was to have one big communal space," says Tracey. "So we decided it was time for a completely new kitchen. We wanted to use a local company and found Ridgeway through Vale Life magazine. There were a couple of other companies in the running but one of the reasons we went with Ridgeway is that they offered a 'one-stop-shop'. Our plasterer, electrician, builder, plumber and floor tiler were all recommended by Ridgeway and they worked together as team. If you're going to have people in your home you want to get on with them - and you want them to get on with each other - which they did. If there were any problems they were sorted there and then. Even better, they tidied up at the end of every day and never got in the way."
"Another reason why we went with Ridgeway was Darren. He just got us straight away. The thing with our kitchen space is that there's not a lot of scope in what you can do with it. But where Darren was clever is that he made the most of every single inch and had a real eye for detail. The new kitchen covers almost the same footprint as the old one but it feels twice the size. It's brighter, lighter and it works so much better. It was Darren's idea to add the return and also to take down the divide between the two rooms. Both of those things have made such a difference.
We really enjoyed working with him. He was so obliging. Nothing was too much trouble. And he always kept us in the loop which was really comforting.
He never pushed us into buying our appliances, tiles or worktops from Ridgeway. Instead he suggested we shop around to find exactly what we wanted then he negotiated on price and sorted out details of the order and delivery.
Everything came in on budget and there were no hidden extras or surprises."
"I know it sounds a bit weird but my kitchen makes me happy. I feel genuinely happy when I walk into it."

A recent Hacker kitchen we supplied and installed for Mrs Witty with Silestone worktops. Silestone is 95% natural quartz and is the only quarz worktop with Bacteriostatic Protection. Another very happy customer!
We are always delighted to receive feedback from our lovely customers.
Just a quick note to say thank you to all the Ridgeway staff who were involved in the planning and installation of our new kitchen - it was a pleasure working with you all and we are very pleased with the end result .
An especially big thank you to yourself for all your help , advice and patience . I don't think we would have made it to the end without you !
'Darren was friendly, approachable, honest and knowledgeable and helped us realise our ideas for our perfect kitchen. He listened to what we wanted and developed fantastic designs for us. The product is very high quality and we are delighted with the final look of our new family kitchen.'
